Cave Temple

Attack of the 60 foot Buddha! Dambulla is apparently the most interesting of all the cave temples in Sri Lanka, according to the guide book. In the photo you can see the drip line carved into the rock to keep the interior of the temples dry.

All this sightseeing is tiring even for Buddha.
Almost every inch of the walls and ceilings are covered in paintings of deities, buddhas or intricate patterns.
